
Go slow & enjoy the stretch. You’ll feel much better bc it decompresses your lower back.
Specifically:
1. Lie flat on your back on the floor/rug/mat- then use your arms to gently draw your knees towards your chest. (Knees apart but ankles crossed can enhance the stretch in your lower back)
2. Rocking gently sideways can help release tension in the lower back.
Try to incorporate this stretch into your daily routine, ideally include with core exercises for the best results.
Important Distinction:
Exercises are for Muscle strength!
Stretches are for Ligaments/Joints flexibility
BOTH are very important!!
